Please bring your entries to the Home Arts Tent on:
Sunday, August 1st  from 2-4 pm
Monday, August 2nd  from 4:30-7:30 pm
All entries to be delivered.

Registration forms are due on August 1st and 2nd upon delivery of entries.

Home Arts Special Contests

“Yeast Breads” Contest

Winners of the Yeast Breads contest will be awarded a variety of Red Star® products, including oven mitts, spatulas and thermometers, in addition to yeast and coupons.  Several winners will be selected from a variety of categories. http://www.lesaffre.com/en/

“Brunch for a  Bunch” Contest

The “Brunch for a Bunch” contest, sponsored by the Virginia Egg Council. Entries should be brunch dishes featuring eggs and can be anything from frittatas to deviled eggs to breakfast casseroles. The contest will be held August 4th, and entries will be received from 5:30 to 6 pm only. Winners of the local contest will compete at State Fair Level.

“Fresh Preserving” Contest

The winners of the Fresh Preserving contests, sponsored by Jarden Home Brands, will receive the popular Ball Blue Book® Guide to Preserving and award certificates and valuable coupons for Ball®, Kerr® and Fruit Jell® products. Categories include jam, fruits, vegetables, pickles, etc.
