Albemarle County Fair, Inc., a nonprofit, regionally based corporation, has as its primary mission to annually sponsor the Albemarle County Fair. This Fair is primarily focused on serving the Charlottesville-Albemarle area by promoting the involvement of the area’s public and visitors in its programming. The programs strive to provide wholesome entertainment and activities that emphasize the deep human, natural, and agricultural resources of Central Virginia. Directions to the Fair (At the fairgrounds, North Garden, VA) • Take Route 29 South toward Lynchburg. • Go approximately 8 miles on 29 South. • Take a right on Plank Road (SR 692). • You will see signs for the Fair. • The fair is about 1/4 mile on the right on Plank Road.
